Hotel Charlotte weekly, 11/23

HOTEL CHARLOTTE WEEKLY SPECIALS
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and Victor and I choose this one holiday each year to visit our families in the mid-west. Actually, we go there just to reassure ourselves that we have the best weather in the world in Groveland. :)
Restaurant News: Open tonight! and while the restaurant is closed for Thanksgiving Day, we will be open for the remainder of the weekend and hope that you will bring your holiday guests in for a festive night out when you need a change from all those turkey sandwiches.
Following this week our new schedule will be Thursday-Sunday, a return to our roots!
Home for the Holidays! We want you to consider the Hotel Charlotte your Home for the Holidays whether its just stopping in for dinner or booking rooms for your out of town guests. Our friends and neighbors always get an additional 10% discount on room rates and we promise to take really good care of your visitors. For a real treat, have them stay in your house and you come take a room at the Charlotte!
Holiday Parties:  Trying to figure out what to do with your bunko, bridge, canasta, or other group during the holidays?  Large groups (up to 59) or small, Victor will create a menu to fit your holiday festivities.  Whether it's finger foods, a buffet or full service event, we'll tailor it to your desires. So, don't clean house, call Team Charlotte!  We still have dates available between now and New Years, 962-6455.
Decorate the Town! The annual foiling and bowing of the town has begun! And what a grand start they had on Tuesday. Thank you to all the volunteers who came out. There is still plenty to do in the next couple of days, don't hesitate to give Jack a call, 7163 if you can help us with this mammoth project! Friday is a big day for the team as the newly strung garland will be hung.
Holiday Shopping: I would be remiss to not remind folks of the many local shopping opportunities this year starting with the duo craft fairs this Friday and Saturday--the long running show at the Community Hall and the new fair out in Big Oak Flat at the IOOF building.
Make black Friday a green Friday for our local merchants! And if you don't think we have anything to sell at the Hotel Charlotte that someone would want.... Consider a gift certificate. The gift of good food is always welcome!
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
